How much will my visit cost?
There is a house call charge of $65. A complete general physical examination of your pet costs $55. Additional fees may apply based on your location, appointment time and diagnostics/procedures required. We can offer an estimate prior to coming to your home. Payment in full is required at the end of the visit and can be paid with cash, check (subject to approval), Visa/Mastercard, American Express or Venmo/Paypal.
How do I make an appointment?
To make an appointment you may call Dr Joan Beaulieu at (404) 660-1271 (leave a message if she doesn't answer) or email Dr Joan Beaulieu at HighlandMobileVet@gmail.com. All calls made or emails sent before 2:00pm will be answered by 7:00pm that same day. Calls and emails sent after 2:00pm will be answered by 2:00 pm the following day. If you feel it is an emergency please call St Francis Veterinary Specialists at (404) 924-2000, Georgia Veterinary Specialists at 404-459-0903, Animal Emergency Center of Sandy Springs at 404-252-7881.
What area do you service?
Dr Joan Beaulieu offers her services for clients in Intown Atlanta, including Virginia Highlands/Morningside, Poncey Highlands, Candler Park, Inman Park, Druid Hills. Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis and additional fees may apply.
Do you treat animals other than dogs and cats?
This practice is limited to dogs and cats. Dr Joan Beaulieu can give you recommendations for veterinarians who provide medical care for your other pets.
What if my pet requires additional diagnostics or medical/surgical treatment?
We can refer you to a facility which can best accommodate your patients needs.
Do you make visits for euthanasia?
Yes, full in-home euthanasia services are provided. We are able to provide your family and pet a comfortable and painless end of life transition. This includes medical treatment, consultation and making arrangements for cremation/burial.
